Rules of Release

1. We release only well-trained, healthy white doves from white racing pigeon stock.  These are also known as Rock Doves.  Under no circumstances are other types of doves released.  Ringneck Doves are used for display only.
2. We only release doves outdoors during daylight hours.  Our birds need the sun to navigate. That's why the releases must be done at least two hours before sunset (local time).
3. Our birds are family.  We care about their health and welfare.  Consequently, we never release them if the conditions become unsafe due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. 
4. We will not release birds beyond a range that they are able to safely fly.
5. We use only well-trained birds for releases.
6. We ensure that the release-baskets in which birds are temporaily held are large enough to be comfortable and secure.  The baskets will be kept in safe areas, not too hot or too cold.
7. We never ship birds for self-release. 

Standards of Care

1. As a member of  International White Dove Society, American White Dove Release Association, and National White Dove Release Sociatey, we are knowledgeable in the care and training of white doves. 
2. Our lofts are not over-crowded nor unsanitary.
3. Our birds are wormed regularly and receive their innoculations at recommended intervals.  
4. Our birds are always well fed and provided with fresh water at all times. 

Code of Conduct

1. We will answer any inquiries from clients professionally and quickly. 
2. We will arrive on time for our engagements, and we will be dressed professionally. 
3. All displays and releases will be professional. 
4. If a release has to be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances that are not caused by the customer, monies and deposits will be returned in a fair way.  Please see "Terms" below for details.

Terms

1. A 50% deposit is required to hold your booking.  The balance is due 30 days before event.

• If the event occurs in less than 30 days, payment in full will hold your booking.  In case of cancellation, there will be no refund within 30 days.  If the event is postponed, however, we will make every effort to help you reschedule.

• We offer dove-release rehearsals for weddings.  This is included in the price.  
• If the birds can't fly due to weather conditions and if the birds have not yet arrived at the event, we will refund 100% of payment.  If the birds have arrived at the event and cannot fly due to weather conditions, all but $50 will be refunded.

• If on the day of the event a delay occurs to cause the release time to move within 2 hours of sunset, then there will be no release and no refund.  If a delay of more than 1 hour occurs, then there will be a additional charges of $35/hr. plus fraction thereof.

• No deposit is required to book a dove release for a funeral or memorial service. We understand that the loss of a loved one can come unexpectedly. Please don't hesitate to call us on short notice.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
